The MRF39RA is a low power RF receiver capable of operation over a wide frequency range, including the 433, 868 and 915 MHz Sub-GHz frequency bands.  It is a highly integrated circuit that minimizes external components while maintaining maximum design flexibility.  All major RF communication parameters are programmable and most of them can be dynamically set.  The MRF39RA offers the unique advantage of programmable narrow-band and wide- band communication modes without the need to modify external components while satisfying European ETSI and US FCC regulations.  The MRF39RA is ideal for battery-powered applications due to its low power consumption, 100 nA in sleep mode (typ) and 16mA receive mode, and operating range from 3.6V down to 1.8V.  Additionally, the high sensitivity of -120 dBm enables longer-range applications.
